Biography

Claire O’Donohoe is the Clinical Trial Start Up Manager jointly appointed between Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) and the Irish Network for Children’s Clinical Trials (In4kids). Her role primarily focuses on Business development, increasing paediatric clinical trial activity nationally. It will also include new study feasibility, engagement with study sponsors and funding bodies, as well as partnership development and sustainability planning.

Claire has an MSc in Business and Biotechnology from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School UCD and a BSc in Biomedical Health and Life Science from UCD.  She has previously worked in a number of different roles in clinical trials. These include trial management, business development and pharmacovigilance in a wide range of disease areas in both the private and public sector. Most recently, she worked as the Clinical Trial Start Up Specialist for the Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute at St James’s Hospital.
